The 2015 Edition debuts with a 24 hours hackathon (6th to 7th of June) that addresses a number of over 130 avid, eager programmers to build applications in the field of wearable and connected devices and the internet of things. These devices, the newest in the industry, will be made available to the participants through the partners of the event. At the end of the 24 hours programming marathon and following a session of presentations, 3 winning teams will be validated, which will receive as prizes devices and invitations to present their product at startup accelerators.
The event will host over 600 participants, making it a good opportunity for guests from various backgrounds to share useful knowledge, which contribute to the development of the ecosystem and the degree of technological innovation in Cluj-Napoca and Romania.
Techsylvania aims to promote Cluj-Napoca communities as technology centers recognized and confirmed at international level, but also stimulate the development of local products. The event offers the opportunity of social interaction for the purpose of establishing partnerships, seeking financing or obtaining coaching from experts, as well as promoting technical breakthrough ideas from the Romanian developers.

The second part of the event is the Conference, which will take place on 8-9 June, where the topics will revolve around three main themes: Code (the latest solutions and technical themes), Product (product management, marketing), Funding (financing modalities and types of investments).Speakers
