Techsylvania aims to promote the local and Romanian communities as well established and recognised tech centres on an international scale and also to stimulate the development of local products. The event offers both the opportunity for social interaction with the purpose of establishing new partnerships, financing opportunities or mentors' advice from well know experts as well as the chance of promoting revolutionary tech ideas of Romanian developers.
24 hours hackathon
The participants can prove their technical skills in a 24 hours hackathon, taking place between 6-7 of June, where the winning teams will receive 4 Razor gaming keyboards from Braintree, Pebble watches, Garmin devices and gadgets like Onyx Beacons, Leap Motion, Haloband, Metaware and also free office space at ClujHub or an exclusive invite to the startup accelerator program hosted by Young Leaders Club in Constanta between 21-28 of June.
More than 130 tech enthusiasts willing to develop innovative apps in the area of wearables and internet of things will be able to hack on the latest devices available on the market like Apple Watch, Moto 360, Pebble, Jawbone UP, Parrot mini drones, Google Glass and Metawear platform.
